The only wqy to know is to have your soil tested by a qualified laboratory, evaluated, and recommendations made to you by a qualified technician. Normally, this is a costly and irksome chore that most people choose to ignore.

But LOWA will make it so easy for you, and so inexpensive that you cannot pass up this opportunity to "know your soil"!

Sign-up here and start the process; and that is the hardest part of the task on your part. We will do all the rest.

If you live in the current Water Management Plan area of LOWA (see See Map then volunteers will come to your home, collect soil samples from different areas of your yard, (will vary depending on conditions, at least six and up to 12 samples) composite the samples, submit the samples, report the results, and make recommendations.
